NATURAL CURRY LEAF POWDER

Curry Spiced Lentil snack

Ingredients:

½ cup curry leaves powder; 2 tsp oil; ¼ cup chana dal; 2 tbsp urad dal; 1 tsp coriander seeds; a small piece of tamarind; 4 dried red chilies; 2 tbsp coconut, desiccated and dried; pinch of asafoetida; ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

• Take a large frying pan and heat the oil. Roast the chana dal, urad dal, and coriander seeds. Roast until they turn golden.

• Add a small piece of tamarind, dried red chilis, and coconut. Continue to roast until the coconut turns golden.

• Transfer into a blender with a pinch of asafoetida, salt, and curry leaf powder.

• Blend into powder without adding any water.

• Store it in an airtight container and use it as required.
